Kern Singh is a Founding Partner & President of the Singh Law Firm, and has served as trusted counsel to his clients for over a decade. He is recognized as Northern California’s premier and most-sought after Estate Planning Attorney. Mr. Singh is also renowned as the preeminent attorney for Advanced Estate Planning, specializing in Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) Issues, Start-Ups, Estate Taxes, IPOs, and Liquid Events all within the Estate Planning wheel-house.
Mr. Singh began his career under Vice President Kamala Harris at the San Francisco County District Attorney’s Office before transitioning to private practice. At the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Singh honed his lawyering skills which made a seamless transition to being a private practitioner.
Mr. Singh has been named “Super Lawyer Rising Star,” by SuperLawyers (a distinction awarded only to the top 2.5% of Attorneys in the country), and is a noted “Superb Attorney” with a 10/10 rating on Avvo. Mr. Singh is the industry leader in Estate Planning, and has prided himself on being the best for his clients.
Outside of the office, Mr. Singh devotes his time and attention to his wife, his two lovely daughters, and his dogs. Mr. Singh and his family are avid tennis players, skiers, and sailors. As a family, they also have a keen interest in equestrian sports and are sure to take a yearly trip to Disneyland amongst their other adventures.
Mr. Singh holds a dual Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science and Criminology from UC Irvine and a Juris Doctorate from Monterey College of the Law.

Sharmila Singh is a Founding Partner of the Singh Law Firm, and has served as a heart-felt advisor to her clients for over a decade. Mrs. Singh is known for her ability to work with her clients intimately and warmly, and her clients continue to rely on her as a trusted lawyer and confidante.
Mrs. Singh began her career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a tax consultant where she learned the fundamentals of taxation which blended well into her private practice of Estate Planning. Mrs. Singh opened the doors of the Singh Law Firm in January of 2010 and the firm has been the industry Estate Planning leader since then.
Mrs. Singh’s passion for helping each client that walks through her doors has translated into earning the accolade of “Super Lawyer Rising Star” by SuperLawyers, which is awarded only to the top 2.5% of Attorneys in the nation.
In her personal time, Mrs. Singh is devoted to spending time with her husband, her two daughters, and to walking her dogs. Mrs. Singh enjoys keeping a tidy home, playing leisurely tennis, and is keen on baking and cooking all of her family’s food at home. With the family, Mrs. Singh’s favorite activities are hunting for shells on the beach, taking family walks, and watching her daughters horseback ride.
Mrs. Singh holds a Bachelor of Science from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from UC Hastings College of the Law.

Gavin Brar is an outstanding provider to the Singh Law Firm’s clients. Mr. Brar works one-on-one with all clients, and has an exceptional ability to make personal connections with each and every individual he meets.
Mr. Brar began his career at the Singh Law Firm handling client intake and refining the trust transfer deed processing department within the practice. As he mastered all of the behind-the-scenes work, his dedication to the clientele shaped his role as a true client relationship manager. Mr. Brar is equipped to engage with all clients who walk through the Singh Law Firm’s doors.
Outside of the office, Mr. Brar is an excellent and adventurous cook, a weight-lifting enthusiast, and has recently added cocktail mixology to his list of hobbies. Mr. Brar also enjoys attending San Francisco Giants baseball games whenever he can.
Mr. Brar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from San Jose State University.

Michelle Gonzales has been an integral member of the Singh Law Firm since the foundational years of the practice. Mrs. Gonzales is an expert in all aspects of client relationships, revocable trust funding education, and works directly with clients to update and amend their existing Estate Plans.
In the office, Mrs. Gonzales is known for her patience, her warmth, and her meticulous care of each and every client she meets. Her skills as a paralegal have grown exponentially since she began her career at the Singh Law Firm and is now established as the head of her department.
On the weekend, Mrs. Gonzales will be found adventuring all across California with her husband. She and her husband have been known to take weekend road trips across the state border, as well. Mrs. Gonzales is dedicated to hiking, reading, and pampering her rescue pup, Loki.
Mrs. Gonzales is actively obtaining her degree at Ohlone College while working a full-time schedule.

Clarissa Guevarra graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Legal Studies and Sociology. She obtained her paralegal certification from the University of San Diego. She is currently in her last year as a masters student at SJSU under the Justice Studies Department. Her current research focuses on security and preventative measures across grocery/department stores. Outside of school and work, she loves to watch documentaries, try new foods, weightlifting, and going out with friends. She hopes to attend either law school or a PhD program in the near future.

Practice is concentrated in structuring integrated and comprehensive estate goals of clients of the firm. Assist clients in preparing custom revocable trusts, wills, irrevocable trusts. Work closely with individuals and business owners in guiding them through advanced tax planning, business succession planning and charitable planning. Counsel to several high net worth families in multi-generational estate planning. Provide counsel to trustees and fiduciaries in trust administration. Represent several charitable organizations in legal and operational matters. Acts in the role of Trustee for numerous revocable and irrevocable trusts.
Head of Finance
Diljit Brar is a seasoned accountant with an impressive track record, currently serving as the Head of Finance at Singh Law Firm, a position he has held since the firm’s inception. With a comprehensive understanding of the unique financial and accounting requirements of the legal field, Mr. Brar’s expertise spans a diverse spectrum of domains, encompassing bookkeeping, payroll management, tax preparation, and financial reporting. In his pivotal role within Singh Law Firm, he assumes responsibility for the overall financial management, a multifaceted role that includes the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and the provision of invaluable tax guidance to the firm’s partners and associates. Mr. Brar’s strategic acumen and collaborative approach contribute significantly to the firm’s operational efficiency and profitability, as he actively engages in the strategic planning process and collaborates closely with the management team.
Beyond his professional endeavors, during his leisure time, Mr. Brar revels in the company of his family on enriching vacations, often indulging in long drives and off-road adventures with his sons. He also harbors a special fondness for cars. Mr. Brar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, earned from California State University, East Bay, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and expertise in his field.

For over two decades, Nemo Lim has been a noteworthy leader in the Information Technology space. After finding interest in the evolving world of technology, he was able to custom build his own computer at the early age of 13 years old.
Upon receiving multiple certifications at DeVry University, Mr. Lim continued his passion for IT at Five Star Networking in 2014. With that, Mr. Lim specializes in progressive systems and applications which include accounting software, mass communication procedures and organizational apps.
As the IT Manager, Mr. Lim loves to have fun when he can. From working and upgrading his Toyota Tacoma, spending time with family, exploring food spots with his girlfriend Gemma and taking yearly trips to New York to visit his brother.
Further, Mr. Lim’s drive and passion for helping others has allowed him to cross paths and work alongside many different companies such as – Ebay, Google, PayPal, as well as local wineries within the Bay Area.
