Kern Singh
CEO & Co-Founder
Kern Singh is a serial entrepreneur, attorney, and investor with more than 20 years of experience founding and leading companies across law, real estate, and diversified investments. He is the Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of The Singh Law Firm, PC, one of the nation’s leading estate planning firms, trusted by thousands of families to safeguard their legacies. His insights on wealth preservation and estate planning have been featured on national platforms including Fox News, CBS, and leading publications.
As an attorney, Kern is recognized as one of Northern California’s premier estate planning practitioners, with particular expertise in advanced planning strategies involving Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS), start-ups, estate taxation, IPOs, and liquidity events. He began his legal career in the San Francisco County District Attorney’s Office under then–District Attorney Kamala Harris, where he honed the advocacy and analytical skills that shaped his approach to client service. He has since been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star—a distinction awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys nationwide—and holds a “Superb Attorney” 10/10 rating on Avvo.
Beyond the law, Kern serves as Chairman & CEO of Singh Management XVI, Inc. and Singh Properties, Inc., where he focuses on long-term growth, strategic investments, and operational excellence. He also holds equity positions and advisory roles in companies across finance, technology, consumer brands, and real estate, including Monterey County Bank, Accio3D, and Spotbrands Group. At the core of his leadership philosophy is building organizations that not only grow but also create meaningful impact—on team members, clients, and the broader communities they serve.
Kern holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Criminology from the University of California, Irvine, and earned his Juris Doctor from Monterey College of Law.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Kern devotes his time to his wife, their two daughters, and their dogs. Together, they are avid tennis players, skiers, and sailors, and share a family passion for equestrian sports. A yearly trip to Disneyland is among their many cherished traditions.

Dyhane Hawkin
Chief Operating Officer
Dyhane Hawkins serves as Chief Operating Officer of Singh Law Firm, bringing more than a decade of experience in firm administration, operations management, and compliance in the legal field. She is known for her ability to design and oversee processes that enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and support long-term organizational success.
In addition to her leadership in operations, Dyhane has spent more than 15 years as a direct-hire recruiter, specializing in finance, accounting, legal, and engineering roles throughout California. This dual expertise—in operations and talent acquisition—has positioned her as a respected professional in the estate planning industry, valued for her strategic insights and her client-first approach.
Outside of work, Dyhane is deeply involved in nonprofit and community initiatives. She regularly lends her time and talents to fundraising events, where her creativity and eye for detail contribute to meaningful and memorable outcomes. Her commitment to service reflects a lifelong dedication to making a positive impact.
Dyhane and her husband, Scott, are the proud parents of twin daughters attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas. They enjoy visiting Texas to support their daughters, attend football games, and explore the surrounding communities.

Rajeev Gill
Chief Financial Officer
Rajeev Gill is the Chief Financial Officer of Singh Law Firm, where he brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operational leadership. He is recognized for his ability to implement scalable financial systems, foster sustainable growth, and ensure fiscal discipline across organizations.
Rajeev began his career as an auditor at Deloitte before holding senior finance roles at Juniper Networks, ARM, and Ning. He later served in leadership positions at high-growth media and technology companies including Tely Labs, Funny or Die, and Jaunt VR. Most recently, he led finance operations at Eversight, guiding the company through its acquisition by Instacart.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. A strong advocate for financial transparency and innovation, Rajeev brings a steady, strategic perspective to the firm’s leadership team.
Outside of work, Rajeev enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing tennis, and following Bay Area sports. He is also an avid concertgoer and a longtime fan of Depeche Mode.

Gavin Brar
Vice President of Estate Planning
Gavin Brar serves as Vice President of Estate Planning at Singh Law Firm, where he works directly with clients to deliver personalized, thoughtful estate planning solutions. Known for his ability to build meaningful connections, Gavin ensures that every client feels understood, valued, and supported.
He began his career at Singh Law Firm in client intake and trust transfer deed processing, where he developed a deep understanding of the firm’s operations. His commitment to excellence and client care shaped his growth into a client relationship leader and, ultimately, a key member of the firm’s leadership team.
Gavin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from San Jose State University.
Outside of work, he is a passionate cook, adventurous in the kitchen, and has recently taken up cocktail mixology. He also enjoys weightlifting and is a dedicated San Francisco Giants fan.

Lou Saelee
Director of Operations and Human Resources
Lou Saelee is the Director of Operations and Human Resources at Singh Law Firm, where he leads organizational strategy, compliance, and talent development. With extensive experience in operations management, HR, and policy design, Lou ensures that the firm’s infrastructure supports both immediate performance and long-term growth.
Lou’s career spans more than a decade in recruitment and staffing, with expertise in identifying and cultivating top-tier talent in administration, human resources, finance, accounting, and legal fields. His mastery of full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations reflects a commitment to building strong, high-performing teams. Within Singh Law Firm, Lou has become a trusted advisor in operational management, drawing on a combination of deep expertise and forward-thinking strategies to strengthen organizational excellence.
Beyond his professional work, Lou is dedicated to community service and lifelong learning. He values an active lifestyle, with passions that include playing soccer, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Just as importantly, Lou devotes time and energy to his family, balancing professional leadership with a personal commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around him.

Cavan Cox
Attorney
Cavan Cox brings over a decade of courtroom and legal experience to Singh Law Firm. Raised in the small town of Tehachapi, California, Cavan developed a strong sense of community and integrity that continues to guide his work today.
After earning his Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA, he went on to attend California Western School of Law, where he graduated with honors in 2009 and passed the California State Bar that same year. Cavan began his legal career as a prosecutor, serving the County of Madera and later the California Attorney General’s Office. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience in litigation, negotiation, and case strategy—skills that now enhance his estate planning practice and client advocacy.
In 2022, Cavan transitioned to civil practice, where he focuses on helping individuals and families navigate important life and legacy decisions with clarity and confidence. His background as a prosecutor gives him a distinctive ability to analyze complex legal matters and deliver practical, precise solutions for his clients.
Outside of his legal work, Cavan enjoys gardening, exploring ancient history, and relaxing with a good book and the occasional single malt Scotch.

Nikki Garcia
Attorney
Nikki Garcia brings extensive experience supporting families and children to her work at Singh Law Firm. Before joining the firm, she served as Minor’s Counsel in Alameda County with the East Bay Children’s Law Offices, representing youth ages 0–21 in probate guardianship and dependency matters. Nikki’s career has been devoted to helping both adults and children navigate complex legal systems with competence and compassion.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University and her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, graduating with Honors in the Public Interest Law Concentration. Her early career included externships with a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge, the Los Angeles County Counsel, and the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, experiences that gave her a strong foundation in litigation and client advocacy.
An experienced litigator and mediator, Nikki is highly skilled in guiding parties toward resolution regardless of the level of conflict. Having seen firsthand the challenges and stress the probate process can place on families, she is committed to helping clients avoid these outcomes through thoughtful estate planning. At Singh Law Firm, she extends the firm’s legacy of providing exceptional legal support while meeting each client with empathy and clarity.
Outside of the office, Nikki enjoys hiking with her wife, their toddler, and their dog Roux. A Louisiana native at heart, she has a love for all things New Orleans—and currently knows far more about Bluey than she ever imagined.

Gina Ireland
Director of Estate Planning
Gina Ireland is a dedicated and highly experienced professional with more than 15 years in recruiting, staffing, and client service. As the Director of Estate Planning at Singh Law Firm, she brings a strong commitment to client satisfaction, clear communication, and attention to detail in every interaction. Gina is known for building trusted relationships and making complex processes approachable, guiding individuals and families through one of the most important planning decisions of their lives.
Gina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University, Fresno, where she developed the strong communication skills that now define her client-first approach. She is passionate about listening deeply to clients, ensuring their needs are understood, and delivering solutions with care, professionalism, and clarity. Her ability to connect, communicate, and follow through makes her both a valued leader within the team and a trusted partner to clients.
Outside of work, Gina is a proud mother of two adult children and enjoys spending quality time with them. She also has a love for cooking, particularly baking sourdough bread, and finds peace in the outdoors—whether hiking, walking, or simply enjoying nature. Her warmth, dedication, and genuine care for others are evident in both her professional contributions and her personal life.

Lauren Andaluz brings her background in Corporate Law and client service to her role as Director of Estate Planning II at Singh Law Firm. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Lauren transitioned into Estate Planning to focus on more personal and meaningful client relationships. She pays close attention to client needs, ensuring their wishes are reflected with accuracy and care in every detail—from intake to the preparation of estate planning documents.
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, East Bay, and is actively pursuing her Paralegal Certificate to further enhance her legal expertise. She takes pride in guiding clients through the estate planning process with a steady hand, creating clarity and confidence during an often-overwhelming time.
Outside of her professional work, Lauren is an adventurer at heart. She loves exploring the outdoors with her two-year-old boxer, Makita, discovering new coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends. Michelle Alexandra Arizmendi
Estate Planning & Notary Coordinator
Michelle Alexandra Arizmendi has been a cornerstone of the Singh Law Firm team since its earliest years. With expertise spanning client relationships, revocable trust funding education, and estate plan updates and amendments, Michelle works directly with clients to ensure they feel fully supported and cared for throughout the process.
In the office, Michelle is known for her patience, warmth, and meticulous care with every client she meets. Over the years, her skills as a paralegal have grown tremendously, and she now leads her department with confidence and professionalism. Her ability to blend technical expertise with genuine empathy has earned her a reputation as both a trusted advisor and a calming presence.
Outside of the office, Michelle and her husband enjoy exploring California through weekend road trips, often venturing beyond state borders for new adventures. She is also passionate about hiking, reading, and caring for her beloved rescue pup, Loki. Currently pursuing her degree at Ohlone College while maintaining a full-time role, Michelle’s commitment to growth and excellence reflects her dedication to both her clients and her future.

Suzette Arellano
Estate Planning & Notary Coordinator
As the Administrative Director of Singh Law Firm’s Los Angeles office, Suzette Arellano plays a vital role in guiding clients through the estate planning process—from initial intake to ensuring client satisfaction at the close of their journey. Her relentless work ethic and ability to connect on a personal level allow her to deliver exceptional follow-through and personalized service to every client she serves.
Suzette’s approachable demeanor puts clients at ease, instilling confidence and trust. She takes pride in building strong, supportive relationships while continuously developing her expertise to better serve clients and contribute to the firm’s growth.
Beyond her professional life, Suzette is an avid national park explorer with a personal goal of visiting every park in the United States. Her recent travels include Haleakalā in Maui, where she experienced the beauty of an active volcano. As the eldest of six siblings, Suzette’s natural sense of care and responsibility extends into her volunteer work with youth outreach groups, including time spent living in the Philippines to serve underprivileged communities.

Cherlyn Mathis

Cherlyn is a dedicated advocate for service and has made it her life’s mission to help and support others with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
With nearly 40 years of experience in Corporate America, Cherlyn brings a wealth of knowledge across multiple disciplines, including legal administration, government operations, real estate, mortgage lending, and estate planning. Her diverse background and deep understanding of these industries allow her to provide exceptional support to clients and colleagues alike.
Cherlyn is trained and certified by the National Notary Association (NNA)—the nation’s leading authority on notary education and compliance. She holds certifications as a Texas Notary Public, Texas Online Notary, and Texas Process Server, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, ethics, and professionalism in every engagement.

Italy Mendina

Italy Medina serves as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Singh Law Firm, where she provides essential support to attorneys and staff by managing client communications, preparing and organizing legal documents, coordinating schedules, and ensuring a welcoming office environment. With a strong background in litigation support, she brings valuable expertise and efficiency to the estate planning process.
Prior to joining Singh Law Firm, Italy worked as a Paralegal and Legal Assistant at a personal injury law firm, where she specialized in litigation support. Her experience included conducting legal research, preparing pleadings, assisting with trial preparation, and managing complex cases through pre-litigation and litigation stages. This broad foundation gives her a strong understanding of the legal process and the ability to support clients through significant life decisions.
Outside of work, Italy enjoys strolling through local farmers markets with a kombucha in hand, traveling to new countries, and immersing herself in different cultures. She also enjoys archery, ziplining, wine tasting, weightlifting, and photography—particularly capturing street art. Her love of family, dedication to her Maltese pup, and wide array of interests reflect her vibrant personality.

Maya Atwal

Maya Atwal is a recent graduate of the University of San Diego, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Political Science. During her academic journey, she was an active member of the Honors Society and participated in several student organizations, including the People of the Islands Club, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and intramural soccer.
Originally from Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, Maya now lives in San Diego as she pursues a career in law. With interests in healthcare and intellectual property law, her long-term goal is to attend law school in California, gain valuable legal experience, and eventually return to Hawai‘i to serve her home community.

As one of the first points of contact for the firm, she takes great pride in supporting daily operations while ensuring that each individual who enters the office feels valued, supported, and attended to with care.
Cristina is a graduate of the San Francisco Institute, where she earned her diploma in Computer Business Systems. Outside of the office, Cristina is passionate about cooking and preparing flavorful, authentic meals—a passion she has expanded into a small catering business where she enjoys sharing her culinary talents with others. In addition, Cristina treasures time with her family, enjoys traveling, and expresses her creativity through drawing.

Analyn Pacificar

Analyn “Anna” Pacificar brings over 13 years of business experience to her role as Legal Administrator at Singh Law Firm. With a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Anna originally trained to provide care in the medical field before transitioning into business, where she developed expertise in customer service, technical support, and leadership roles.
Anna is passionate about providing genuine care to her clients, adapting quickly to new challenges, and building meaningful relationships. These qualities, combined with her extensive professional background, make her a strong asset to the Singh Law Firm team.
Outside of work, Anna is a devoted mother to her son and enjoys spending time with him and her partner of 18 years. She loves cooking, traveling, and discovering new experiences, with hopes of expanding her travels in the future.

Daphne Fabe
Legal Administrator
Daphne Fabe serves as a Legal Administrator at Singh Law Firm, where she leverages her technical skills and calm, positive demeanor to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and has built her career in the business process outsourcing industry since 2015. Daphne has supported multiple U.S.-based companies as a claims specialist, account expert, and supervisor. These experiences have strengthened her adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments.
Daphne was drawn to Singh Law Firm because its mission and values resonated with her own. In her role, she applies her skills and experience while continuing to learn and grow. She takes pride in creating a friendly, collaborative environment for colleagues and clients alike.

Duke Singh is one of the most beloved members of the Singh Law Firm team. With a big personality and an even bigger heart, Duke is known for making people smile and lifting spirits throughout the office.
His favorite pastimes include long walks, receiving plenty of pets and belly rubs, and sharing hugs with anyone who needs one. Duke’s joyful presence and unconditional positivity make him the perfect Director of Employee Satisfaction, reminding everyone that a little warmth goes a long way in the workplace.
