Singh to the 2018 Northern California Super Lawyer’s Rising Stars list. This marks Mr. Singh’s fourth consecutive appearance and Ms. Sharmila K. Every year, Super Lawyers names California Rising Stars recipients through a multiphase selection process. First, the candidate pool is created through a peer nomination process. Next, the Super Lawyers research team thoroughly evaluates each candidate on 12 individual indicators, including transactions, representative clients, experience, honors/awards, and position within law firm, scholarly lectures/writings, education background, and other outstanding achievements amongst other criteria. Next, attorneys are categorized by practice area, and peer evaluations take place. In the final selection process, candidates with the highest point totals are chosen.
To be selected, an attorney must be 40 years or younger or must have been in practice 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of California attorneys age 40 and younger are recognized each year. Mr. Singh’s inclusion on this list signifies that he is among the top 2.5 percent of California attorneys age 40 and younger.
Kern D. Singh is a Co-Founding Partner with The Singh Law Firm PC. He earned a dual undergraduate degree in Political Science and Criminology at the University of California, Irvine in three years. Mr. Singh obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Monterey College of Law while working full time in the legal field. Mr. Singh has dedicated his practice exclusively to all aspects of Estate Planning.
